Be a Beta Beast and get your name in the Invincible VS Game Credits!

The Invincible VS Open Beta kicks off on April 9 for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5! Here’s a quick overview of the modes featured in Beta that you’ll be able to play and more info on how YOU can be featured in the final game Credits when Invincible VS launches later this year!

Tutorial

New to Invincible VS or just looking to get a refresher on the basics? We HIGHLY suggest starting with the Tutorial. This mode has a full breakdown on how to play, covering things like movement and inputs, all the way up to Active Tagging and Assist Breakers.

No Pressure. Learn at your own pace and master the mechanics of Invincible VS.

Practice Mode

Once you’ve got the basics down from the Tutorial, hop into Practice Mode to try out everything you learned in real time. Try out all the available Fighters and form a team that fits your playstyle.

Practice has all sorts of tools for you to level up your game at any time. Use it as a warmup space before hopping into matches or stay as long as you want to work out the craziest combos and tech to use against your opponents.

Be sure to take advantage of all the Practice options and info like Hitbox and Frame Data, Dummy Settings, and Recordings to prep for battle.

Ranked Mode

Open Beta will be a testing ground for our upcoming Ranked System in Invincible VS. If you want a deep dive on Ranked, head over to our Invincible VS Ranked FAQ for full details on the system. If you’re just looking for the TL;DR for Open Beta, check out the points below.

  • Choose Ranked from the main menu (or queue for Ranked from Practice) to hop into Ranked Mode. Before you can hop into matches, you’ll be prompted to edit your online match settings and pre-select your default team via the Fight Queue screen.
  • Your first few games will be “Placement Matches,” and your initial Rank placement will be based on your performance in these first 10 games.
  • After you’re placed, you can continue to play Ranked matches to gain (or lose) League Points (LP) based on wins/losses. You’ll earn LP for every victory, which can increase your Rank over time. Go on a win streak to earn an extra bonus percentage of LP earned after a win!
  • Defeats will result in a loss of LP and a potential demotion in your Rank—so bring your A Game.
  • The more League Points you have, the higher your Rank and spot on the Leaderboard.

Open Beta Ranked Reward

To make things a little more exciting for Open Beta, there’s some stakes at play!

During Open Beta you can play Ranked matches to make your way up the leaderboard. The Top 20 players on the Ranked Leaderboard at the end of Open Beta will have their names featured in the Credits for Invincible VS when the game launches on April 30!

Note – Ranked progress from Open Beta WILL NOT carry over to the full release version of Invincible VS.

—

That’s a wrap for Modes in the upcoming Open Beta for Invincible VS! We can’t wait for you to get your hands on the game and look forward to seeing you all in the fight on April 9.
