Ranked is where heroes are made (or where villains conquer). Our premier competitive mode is where you can match against opponents of similar skill, and when Invincible VS launches on April 30, Ranked Season 0 will be in full effect!

You can get your first taste of Ranked mode during our Open Beta, April 9-11

During both Open Beta and Season 0, we’ll be monitoring closely for any future adjustments to the Ranked system based on your feedback and our internal data.

If you’re looking to rise through the ranks and show your skill, check out our FAQ below for all the details on ranked before hopping in.

Will my Ranked progress from Open Beta carry over to full release?

No, your rank and progress from the Invincible VS Open Beta will reset once the game is fully released. However, the top 20 players on the Leaderboard at the end of the Open Beta will have their names featured in the in-game Credits for Invincible VS when the game launches later this year!

Are there any requirements to play Ranked?

There are no requirements to play Ranked, but your first 10 matches will be “Placement Matches.” Once you’ve completed this set of games, you’ll be assigned your starting Rank based on your performance.

How do I increase my Rank?

After you’ve completed your placement matches and been assigned your starting Rank, you can continue to play Ranked matches to gain (or lose) League Points (LP) based on wins/losses. You’ll earn LP for every victory, which can increase your Rank over time. Go on a win streak to earn an extra bonus percentage of LP earned after a win!  The more League Points you have, the higher your Rank and spot on the Leaderboard.

What is the match format for Ranked?

Ranked Matches are a best of 3 set, and you can gain/lose League Points for each individual game in a set based on your win/loss.

How do you handle disconnects for Ranked in Invincible VS?

Players who disconnect while playing in a Ranked match will be given a match loss resulting in a loss of League Points.

What are the Ranks and Tiers?

Invincible VS has 9 Ranks, and all but the final one has 4 Tiers to climb through. Here’s a list of the Ranks in ascending order:

  • New Blood
  • Rookie
  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Superhero
  • Guardian of the Globe

Will my Rank decay if I take a break from playing?

There is no Ranked decay in Invincible VS, but there will be routine League Point resets around Seasonal Updates. We’ll have more to share on our Seasonal structure, Ranked resets, and rewards after launch.

How does the Leaderboard work?

The Leaderboard in Invincible VS is global and displays players from all regions and platforms. Your position on the Leaderboard is determined by your total amount of League Points. There are several different options to filter the Leaderboard to display ranked placements based on friends, platform, and even Fighters.
